Why we shoot film

There are times you have to make a step backward to make a step forward.

These days, different reasons for using medium format film are possible.
For some people the square format might be the crucial factor, for others
perhaps the still impressive image quality of the film material used.

In the end, it doesn't matter why you reclaim a so-called "old" technique,
as long as you are convinced by what you are doing. We want to use an old
technology in this modern century and we want to combine the beauty of the
human body and the quality of medium format film with all its facets.
Here, it is not important if you take your photos with a 5€ camera or a 5000€ camera.

We hope that you enjoy our gallery and the works of our members!

6x6 nude is a group for tasteful nude photography on 6x6 film within dA.

General rules:
* only 6x6 images
* film only, no digital images!
* b&w and colour photos welcome
* no porn!

Feel free to join us!

Everyone can become a member of our group but only the contributors are allowed to submit pictures directly into the gallery.
(watching the group is of course always possible)

This Group brings me souvenirs when I was a young boy and when only 6x6,6x7,6x9 formats were in use...35mm came a bit later...

I also like to watch those one who still use that format and use it very well,

i would love to join and post images but i only own digital cameras, but i am content to just watch :)

Wie ist zu ersehen welche Fotos digtial oder analog aufgenommen wurden?

manche verraten ihre exif, dann ist es natürlich einfach. ansonsten muss man sich auf visuelle merkmale verlassen (rahmen, fussel, korn...) und darauf, dass die poster sich an die regel halten. 100%ig ist das natürlich nie, da man alles manipulieren kann.

Verstehe.
Es hat was, man schießt nicht leichtfertig Fotos und pickt sich einfach das heraus welches als presentierbar erscheint.
